CHILDREN FOR CLIMATE JUSTICE PROJECT

Children for Climate Justice: Inclusive Climate Education, Tree Restoration, and GBV Prevention in Schools project funded under the FACE Program, by AFD (Agence Française de Développement) & CCFD-Terre Solidaire and implemented by Let's Green the Future Trust (LGF) & Centre for Children with Disabilities (C4CD) is a comprehensive climate justice initiative addressing the interconnected challenges of climate change, environmental degradation, and gender inequality. The project focuses on empowering over 500 beneficiaries—including students, teachers, and parents—through inclusive climate education and practical environmental action.
By establishing sustainable school climate clubs and leading tree restoration and reforestation activities, the initiative promotes long-term environmental stewardship, biodiversity conservation, and greener school communities. At the same time, the project integrates essential social protection measures by organizing gender-based violence prevention workshops and awareness sessions, ensuring that climate advocacy is inclusive of children with disabilities and firmly connected to the safety, rights, and equality of the wider community
